Dalton & CS&P Selected to Team Up Once Again for Private School’s New STEM Centre

The Dalton Company has been hired by Bialik Hebrew Day School to build its new, 3,500 sq. ft. Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) centre. In our role a Construction Manager, we are providing experience and leadership for a project team to adapt and renovate an existing footprint of the school’s Viewmount campus.

Bialik–a private, Jewish day school located in Toronto that was originally founded in 1961–has a “vision for innovation” that will encourage students to elevate problem-based learning and design thinking by creating spaces that include a new exploration hub, design centre, greenhouse and reception.

The school has initiated a fundraising campaign to raise $1.8M to complete its vision.

To help realize its vision for the STEM Learning Centre, Bialik selected Dalton and CS&P Architects to lead the project based on our successful collaboration delivering projects for other private schools, including Sterling Hall School, St. Clement’s School and Upper Canada College.

The project’s targeted delivery date is for the new academic year in September 2019.
