The piece features Andrew Dalton's reflections on the project and advice from Peter J. Dalton, who oversaw the wing's original construction in 1971.

Dalton Supports St. Andrew's College Fundraiser

May 01, 2019

Dalton once again supported St. Andrew's College Red & White Gala–an annual event that raises money to benefit students through bursaries, scholarships and Parent Guild initiatives.

The theme of this year's event was 'Ooh La La' and it included performances by a traditional French Accordion Player, the St. Andrew’s College Pipes & Drums Band, Ballerinas, a Moulin Rouge Can-Can dance troop and a live DJ. More than 500 guests were in attendance.

Batawa Lofts Featured in Daily Publication

The BatawaLofts condo project was recently featured in The Intelligencer–a daily newspaper published in the Quinte West area since 1834.

The article explores the history of the former shoe factory–which Dalton transformed into a 47-unit, mixed-use condominium–Sonja Bata's vision behind the project, and the design approach taken by the project's architect, Quadrangle.

Sustainability features of the five-storey building, such as the geothermal heating and cooling system, are also detailed.

Supporting and Gaining Insight into Canadian Independent Schools

Dalton is once again sponsoring the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) National Leaders Conference being held in Toronto from April 7 - 9, 2019.

Dalton will be represented at the conference by Dalton Senior Project Manager Jason Judson and Dalton Works Director Lucas Hrinco.

Held in Toronto this year from April 7 - 9, the conference is a great chance for Dalton to give back to the community of independent schools that we have been working closely with for the past 30 years.
