College

Dalton was entrusted by the school to act as its construction manager to renovate and upgrade the kitchen and servery, dining hall, expand its theatre and modernize its auditorium, music room and technology lab. In addition, Dalton was tasked with creating an outdoor amphitheater and teaching courtyard. In total, the $18.6M project involved adding 44,000 square feet of new space and renovating 15,000 square feet of existing facilities.

Dalton led a $11.7 million renovation and addition of Bayview’s clubhouse in our role as construction manager for all phases of the project. This included building a new main entrance, lobby and fitness and wellness centre; a 23,000 sq. ft. outdoor pool and terrace; installing new mechanical systems and LED lighting; and renovating the existing banquet hall and lobby.

Bata Shoe

Factory

Batawa Development Corporation entrusted Dalton to oversee the transformation of the former Bata Shoe Factory into a condominium featuring 47 residential units and spaces for commercial and community use. We provided leadership during the lifecycle of the $34M project, managing several unforeseen issues that were presented throughout the 75-year-old industrial building.

The Southdown Institute (Southdown) retained the services of The Dalton Company to be its project and construction managers to lead the design and construction of a 33,000 sq. ft., new build facility in East Gwillimbury, ON. Dalton led a feasibility study to assess the property and offer input on the design, cost and constructability so that the work was sequenced in the right manner to meet the established schedule.

Club

Dalton worked with Weston Golf & Country Club for several years on a complete renovation of all buildings and infrastructure as both Project Manager and Construction Manager. We worked with the Club to prepared a feasibility study that was instrumental in achieving approval from the Club's Membership to complete improvements. This included renovations to the men's and ladies locker rooms and lounges, meeting rooms, sports corridor, entrance vestibule, pro shop, as well as landscaping and patio work.

Dating back to 2005, Dalton has worked with Miele as Project Manager to enhance and expand its presence in several Canadian cities. Dalton has developed over the years that has successfully managed the construction of approximately 59,000 square feet of retail space that aligns with Miele’s rigorous branding standards. Dalton has acted as project and construction manager to build the Miele Experience Centres in Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver and Vaughn, as well as its head office in Vaughn.
