The King Animal Hospital Phase One project recently won a 2026 Ontario Builder Award in the Specialty/Niche category.
The project was formally recognized at the Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA) Symposium in Collingwood, ON as part of an event that recognized “outstanding achievement across all sectors, including buildings, infrastructure, renovation, and innovation”.

Randy Dalton and Jason Judson were on hand to receive the award.
Lying at the heart of this award was an ambitious goal established by King Animal Hospital to reimagine animal healthcare is delivered by moving away from a sterile, clinical environment to create an experience for animals and their owners that felt warm and inviting.
This informed high design standards for the stunning interior designs created by award-winning designer Kelly Wearstler, as well as the meticulous detail of the medical facilitate, challenging our team to reach new heights in craftsmanship and technical excellence.
We are extremely proud of this accomplishment, and we stand high on the shoulders of the dedicated and talented broader project team—Prism Partners, Cumulus Architects, Kelson, H.H. Angus, Entuitive, Mulvey & Banani and many more—that worked collaboratively and professionally to remain focused on King Animal Hospital’s Definition of Success.
