Dalton transformed the historic Bata Shoe Factory into a vibrant condominium with 47 residential units and dynamic commercial and community spaces. As construction manager, Dalton led a team of over 70 companies to build on the legacy of the iconic 85,380 sq. ft. structure while revitalizing the surrounding community. Throughout the $34M project, Dalton navigated complex challenges of the 75-year-old building, adding modern amenities such as balconies, a lobby, a rooftop terrace, new services, and advanced electrical and mechanical systems, including geothermal heating and cooling. The project also delivered a new parking lot and driveway, blending historic character with contemporary comfort.
