Island Clubhouse Renovation
Construction on the Island Clubhouse - a heritage building originally built in 1922 - was completed in time for the RCYC’s annual season opening event called Sailpast. Dalton enhanced several areas of the RCYC’s Island Clubhouse, including: enhancing the Clubhouse’s façade, which included replacing custom-built, wood frame windows, revitalizing the dining areas, adding new washrooms and improving accessibility to the boat launch area. The Island Clubhouse is only accessible by boat, so all team members, equipment and materials had to be transported by ferry or barge, which required careful planning.
