Toronto Botanical Garden
Pavilion and Green Roof
Dalton was hired by Toronto Botanical Garden as part of their revitalization initiative to implement the Landscape Master Plan and redevelop the existing building with a 5,000 sq. ft. addition featuring a glass pavilion with a green roof. The project included exterior garden courts, library, store, children's centre and program spaces. The project is one of the first to be listed by the Canadian Green Building Council as a Silver LEED accredited building winning the Toronto Green Design Award in 2006, the first of eight awards for design and conservation.
