Dalton Selected to Lead Construction of New Sustainable, Inclusive Funeral Centre

Dalton has been selected as Construction Manager by Mount Pleasant Group to lead construction activities for the new Duffin Meadows Funeral Centre in Ajax, ON. Designed by architect van Groll & Associates, the 20,000 sq. ft. funeral centre will meet the CaGBC Net Zero Building standards and the Gold Certification Accessibility standards of the Rick Hansen Foundation. The building is also targeted to meet Net Zero Building Performance standards annually.

Dalton was selected based on our previous experience successfully delivering similar projects with similar sustainability and accessibility standards as a Construction Manager At-Risk working with a multi-disciplinary project team.

We are currently providing leadership in the pre-construction phase, collaborating with the consulting firms and subcontractors to develop a detailed design that meets the budget and scheduling goals of Mount Pleasant Group.

The projected opening date of the funeral centre is Spring 2027.
