A groundbreaking ceremony for a new hotel project from Vintage Hotels was held last week under sunny skies in Jordan Village, ON. Dalton is leading construction on the three-story, 49-roon luxury boutique hotel project.

There was a genuine feeling of excitement and anticipation in the crowd, with numerous people from the community in attendance, including the former Mayor of Lincoln, Sandra Easton, and the CEO of Lais Hotel Properties, Bob Jackson (Lais Hotel Properties operates as Vintage Hotels).

Vintage Hotels and Dalton worked together to host the event, which involved speeches from Mayor Easton; Paul McIntyre, Vice President of Operations and Development at Lais Properties; Stan Szaflarski, Principal at Archway & Associate Architects; and Andrew Dalton, CEO at Dalton.

In her speech, Mayor Easton specifically mentioned Dalton Site Manager Sam Catricala for his commitment to collaboration and helping to advance the early stages of the project.

Local press on hand covering the event published this article in NiagaraThisWeek.com. Here's an interesting fact noted in the article: the project received uninamous support from Lincoln town councillors when it was put to vote, which is indicative of the positive support that was expressed at the groundbreaking from members of the community.

We’re looking forward to many more milestones to come in this transformative project for the Jordan community.
