Since opening in 2012, Leo Baeck Day School has nearly doubled its school population to 650 students. To accommodate this impressive growth, the school launched a campaign called Proud History, Bright Future to expand and renovate its Arlington Avenue campus.
The campaign empowered the school to plan and design a new, two-storey addition and renovations to existing spaces. This will create purpose-built areas for learning, activity and interactions, including technology and innovation, a modernized Library, an enlarged Art Studio, a contemporary Student Resource Centre, a Junior Gym, a Dining Hall and flexible multi-purpose spaces to support student growth and learning.

The JK to Grade 8 school selected Dalton to lead construction activities for the project, reuniting our team with CS&P Architects, with whom we previously collaborated on Sterling Hall School. The Leo Baeck project is now in pre-construction phase, with construction targeted for Spring 2026 and an anticipated delivery of Fall 2027.
