On September 5th, The Dalton Company attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at St. Anne's School, Aurora's new private school for girls. In 2021, Dalton partnered with St. Andrew's College to transform at 40,000 sq. ft. private residence into a one-of-a-kind learning environment for girls in York region and the surrounding area.
Over the past two years, Dalton worked alongside Sabrina D'Angelo, Head of School, to create the ultimate space for the Cygnets to call home with the help of more than 35 consultants and subcontractors.
An adaptive reuse project of this complexity presented a unique and exciting challenge for the Dalton team who delivered an exceptional outcome to the client. The goal was to maintain the character and integrity of the original building while adding the necessary structural, mechanical, electrical and safety components to support an institutional environment of this kind.
