Celebrating Local Architecture and Design at the 2018 TSA Bash

The Dalton Company recently sponsored and attended the 2018 Toronto Society of Architects (TSA) year-end bash.

The annual event is an opportunity for the city’s design and architecture community, as well as building industry professionals, to come together and celebrate.

Dalton attendees included Andrew Dalton, CEO; Randy Dalton, President; and Jason Judson, Senior Project Manager. Festivities began with architect-led tours of this year’s venue, the Toronto Central YMCA–which was the recipient of the 2018 Prix du XXe siecle for architecture by the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada and the National Trust of Canada–followed by a reception.

YThe BASH also served as an opportunity for the TSA to raise funds for programs that promote and celebrate architecture in Toronto.

Established in 1887, the TSA is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization comprised of architects, professionals from sister organizations, and members of the community interested in architecture and urban issues. The TSA is the local Chapter of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), which is the licensing and regulatory body that governs the practice of architecture in Ontario.
