Current Opportunities

Client Relations Coordinator


We are looking for an experienced Client Relations Coordinator to begin full-time, permanent work with our dynamic, family-owned company. The Client Relations Coordinator will support Dalton’s Project and Marketing Teams out of their office in Vaughan, ON. This includes (but is not limited to) customer relationship management (CRM) activities, external communications, project-specific functions along with general office administration.


Primary duties and responsibilities and allocated time include:

Marketing Support - 40%

  • assisting with marketing and CRM activities, reporting to the Marketing & CRM Manager, who reports to the Director, Project Development.


Project Support - 40%

  • working with and gaining an in-depth understanding of project-related software platforms – Zoho and Procore - reporting to the Executive Assistant, Client Services, who reports to the CEO.


Office Administration - 20%

  • greeting guests and ensuring excellent visitor experience.

Requirements and Skills

  • Demonstrated work experience in front office administration, project coordination or similar 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to concisely and creatively summarize information

  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills with the ability to effectively balance competing priorities 

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

  • Excellent computer skills; strong comfort level with technology. CRM experience would be an asset

  • Professional attitude and appearance, comfortable interacting with colleagues and office visitors

  • Able to work independently as well as a member of a project team


In addition to the primary duties and responsibilities, general office administration duties include:

  • Being the first point of contact for the Company

  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk

  • Greeting all visitors upon arrival at the office and directing them to the appropriate person and/or office

  • Ensure all visitors sign the log book at the reception desk upon arrival

  • Answer, screen and forward all incoming telephone calls which go through the main general office telephone number

  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming daily mail/deliveries and prepare all outgoing couriers.

  • Maintain inventory control of office supplies, coffee, juice, water.


The position offers a competitive salary with benefits and includes a premium to recognize that a significant portion of the position is related to project administration and not just duties and responsibilities associated with general administration functions.
