Adaptive Reuse Renovation & Addition
The Dalton Company successfully led the conversion of an expansive Jacobean-style private residence into St. Anne’s School - an independent school for girls in Aurora, Ontario. This comprehensive renovation marks a significant achievement in the adaption and reuse of existing buildings to meet the evolving needs of education and demand for sustainable building practices.
To satisfy institutional code compliance, the building required significant structural reinforcement and the installation of all new mechanical, electrical and safety systems. The manor's interior was thoughtfully reimagined into dynamic and engaging facilities catering to diverse learning styles and interests, providing a safe environment for students to thrive academically, socially, and creatively.
